Reported Speech الكلام الغير مباشر
الكلام الغير مباشر هو نقل الكلام علي لسان الأشخاص ( غير المتكلم ) ولا يوضع بين علامات التنصيص
اولا : الجملة الخبرية
عند التحويل من الكلام المباشر الي الكلام الغير مباشر عن طريق :
1- تغيير فعل القول : تتغير said to الي told / أما said تبقي كما هي في المباشر والغير مباشر
2-نربط الجملة ب that أو يمكن الاستغناء عنها
3-يتم تغيير ضمائر الفاعل والملكية
4-نرفع زمن الجملة درجة
5-يتم تغيير العبارات الزمنية والظروف مثل here تتحول الي there
Reported Speech
we use it when we want to say what we or someone said and it is put between inverted commas ( ” ” )
Statement Sentence :
To transfer from direct speech to reported speech :
1- we change (said to) to (told) / (said) is (said )
2- we use That or not
3-we change personal & possessive pronouns
4-change the tense of the verb
5-we change adverbs / time or place reference
يتغير زمن الجملة في الغير مباشر كالتالي :
1-مضارع بسيط go يتحول الي ماضي بسيط went
2-مضارع مستمر am/is/are playing الي ماضي مستمر was/ were playing
3-مضارع تام has gone يتحول الي ماضي تام had gone
4-ماضي بسيط went يتحول الي ماضي بسيط كما هو أو ماضي تام had gone
5-تتحول can /will الي could / would
6-تتحول have to / must الى had to
The verb changes in reported speech :
Examples :
1- Sara said ” I run very fast ” ( direct speech) كلام مباشر
Sara said that she ran very fast ( reported speech ) كلام غير مباشر
مضارع بسيط تحول الي ماضي بسيط
2- Ahmed said to John ” I am playing football ”
Ahmed told John that he was playing football
مضارع مستمر تحول الي ماضي مستمر
3- Mira said to Liza ” I have traveled to Paris ” ( direct speech )كلام مباشر
Mira told Liza that she had traveled to Paris ( reported speech )كلام غير مباشر/ مضارع تام تحول الي ماضي تام
4- They said ” We prepared our luggage” (مباشر)
They said that they prepared / had prepared their luggage (غير مباشر)
ماضي بسيط يتحول الي ماضي تام او يبقي كما هو
5-Jane said ” I will sleep early ”
Jane said that she would sleep early
would الي willتتحول
6- The teacher said to his students ” You have to study well ”
The teacher told his students that they had to study well
had to الي have toتتحول
– Mum said ” You must tidy your room ”
Mum said that we had to tidy our room
had to الي must تتحول
ثانيا : الجملة الإستفهامية yes/ no questions
اذا كان السؤال يبدأ بفعل مساعد نتبع الخطوات الاتية :
1-يتغير فعل القول said / said to الي asked
2- نحذف الأقواس ونربط الجملة ب if / whether ثم الفاعل ثم الفعل ثم باقي الجملة
3-تتغير الأزمنة والضمائر وظروف الزمان والمكان مثل الجملة الخبرية
يمكن استخدام أفعال قول اخري مثل : wondered/ wanted to know/ inquired
Reported Questions :
Examples :
1- He said ” Do you like pizza?”
he asked if / whether I liked pizza
ونرفع الفعل الي الماضي البسيط do تم حذف
2- Ahmed said to Ali ” Have you visited the museum?”
Ahmed asked Ali if / whether he had visited the museum
تم رفع زمن المضارع التام في المباشر الي الماضي التام في الغير مباشر
3- She asked me ” Are you going to sleep?”
she asked me if / whether I was going to sleep
was going الي are going تم رفع
4- She asked me ” Did you enjoy the novel?”
She asked me if I enjoyed the novel
ورفع الفعل الي زمن الماضي البسيط do تم حذف
Wh questions
اذا كان السؤال يبدأ بأداة استفهام في في جملة المباشر نربط بنفس الأداة الموجودة في السؤال يأتي بعدها الفاعل ثم الفعل ونرفع زمن الجملة
مثال : “?he said “where are you doing
he asked where he was doing
تم حذف الأقواس ونربط بنفس أداة الاستفهام يتبعها الفاعل ثم الفعل
مثال : ” ?he asked me “what is your favourite subject
he asked me what my favourite subject was
تم الربط بأداة الاستفهام يتبعها الفاعل ثم الفعل مرفوع الي الماضي
Wh questions :
Examples : He said to me ” Where did you go?”
He asked me where I went
تم حذف الاقواس والربط بنفس الأداة يتبعها الفاعل والفعل
Example : Mum asked John ” How did you reach the station?”
Mum asked John how he reached the station
Example : The passenger said ” Why has the flight delayed?”
The passenger asked why the flight had delayed
Example : The teacher said to the students ” What are you doing?”
The teacher asked the students what they were doing
ملحوظة :
اذا كان فعل القول في زمن المضارع say / tell أو في زمن المضارع التام has/ have said أو moment ago /just now لا تتغير الأزمنة وتبقي كما هي , تتغير الضمائر فقط
مثال : ” he says “Dina is beautiful
he says that Dina is beautiful
فعل says في المضارع لذلك لم يتغير الفعل عند التحويل , فقط الضمائر
مثال : he has just said I lost my bag
he has just said that he lost his bag
لم يتغير الزمن وبقيت الجملة كما هي عدا تغيير الضمائر
ملحوظة : يتحول الماضي البسيط الي ماضي تام او يبقي كما هو
أما الماضي التام فيبقي كما هو عند التحويل
Notice : if the saying verb is in present ( say / tell) or in present perfect or includes (moment ago / just now ) the verb does not change, only pronouns
Examples :
1- He says ” We have to win the match ”
He says that they have to win the match
في زمن المضارع لذلك لا يتغير زمن الجملة says فعل
2-He has said ” Why are you late?”
He said why they are late
3- He said moment ago ” John had to travel at 6 ”
He said moment ago that John had to travel at 6
4- Dina said to her mother ” Where had dad gone?”
Dina asked her mother where dad had gone
يبقي الماضي التام كما هو عند التحويل
تتغير الأزمنة والظروف كالتالي :
تتحول tomorrow الى the following day / the day before
تتحول yesterday الى the day before /the previous day
تتحول this الى that
تتحول now الى then / at that time
تتحول today الى that day
تتحول tonight الى that night
تتحول here الى there
تتحول these الى those
تتحول last night الى that night
The tenses & adverbs changes in reported speech :
Examples :
1-He said ” I will travel tomorrow ”
He said that he would travel the following day
the following day الي tomorrow تم تحويل
2- The manger said to us ” You must finish your work this morning ”
The manger told us that we had to finish our work that morning
that الي this تم تحويل
3- Mum said ” Where are you going now ?”
Mum asked where I was going at that time
at that time الى now تحولت
